Hey guys, I've got a problem, its really hard and everytime could make me upset…
Lets say we have plan to make a tree or anything complex from more parts of one sculpt (wooden fence etc.), there goes my question, how to deal with ends of subobjects, which are still connected by hair line? They looks cool and everything is nice till I generate map through sculpgenmax, then are welded endings meshed up wrong. Is there something special or trick I must do in 3dmax to REALLY weld vertices to get nice complex sculpt without bugs? (3dmax2009, object is 8x128 plane cutted to 4 pieces and each part is welded on both sides, see picture – big one is 3dmax, smaller is imported sculpt)
Picture is also here: http://bit.ly/cgLprN

THX for any help, solving it would free my hands in future work.

Not sure if I fully understand, but if you are welding, then that might be your problem.  Prim Composer doesn't work well with welding.  Instead of welding, use the tools in 3ds Max to move the vertices to the same point.
