Strange Row in Map

I have encountered a strange problem in all of my render maps. I create the object inside of ZBrush and then use the script in 3DSM 9 to render it. There seems to be a row of pixels however that is the same as the one right below it and when used on a sculpted object, it creates a horizontal line across the shape and displaces any texture that might be on it.

Unfortunately, there isn't enough information for me to understand the cause of the problem.

Two things to check are:

  • make sure that the UV map of the sculptie in 3ds Max is correct (see faq for more info)
  • make sure that your sculptie has an appropriate topology (stitching type) in SL. You used to have to change topology using an LSL script, but the latest Release Candidate of the SL viewer (1.20.8) also has a menu button that lets you change it directly in the edit dialog. (see faq for info on doing it with LSL)

But the easiest way for me to see exactly what is happening is for you to zip up a .max file containing one of the sculpties and upload it to me using the user submission form. You can find a link to the form off the SculptGenMax homepage.
