The Cliffs of BonnyDoon

This was Shack’s most ambitious building project to date. A comprehensive look at the park can be found in The Cliffs of BonnyDoon Image Gallery. The Cliffs took several months to complete and measured 230m x 160m x 180m with 11690 prims linked into 1125 objects. It was a single continuous skybuild with prim terrain, caverns, treehouses, and spectacular particle waterfalls.

liferain.com and Beyond

In September 2006, Shack took a break from Second Life, sold all his land, and started looking for new ways to explore his creative vision. During this time, he explored a number of virtual worlds and world-building platforms, as well as, began his journey into the world of 3d modeling. Then, in May 2007, Linden Labs introduced sculpties to Second Life and his interest in SL was renewed. Shortly thereafter, Shack Dougall created SculptGenMax, a popular tool for sculptie creation in 3ds Max.

In Dec 2007, Shack opened liferain.com to promote and support SculptGenMax. He is currently developing a complete SL prim/sculptie development environment in 3ds Max (called Prim Composer). And hopes to use Prim Composer to create new large-scale virtual environments such as The Cliffs of BonnyDoon in the near future.
